Professional experience
Consultant at Schiappa Cabral & Associados, Sociedade de Advogados RL since April 2026.
Since 2019, she has been a Consultant at the State Legal Competence Centre (CEJURE).
From 2021 to 2026, she ran her own law firm, Príncipe Real Advogados.
Between 2018 and 2021, she was a Member of the Administrative Arbitration Committee of the Portuguese Arbitration Association.
From 2006 to 2018, she was a lawyer at Abreu Advogados in the Public Law & Environment practice area.
From 2001 to 2005, she was a consultant in the field of Public Law at the Office of Legislative Policy and Planning of the Ministry of Justice. In this capacity, she was a member of the Commission for the Follow-up and Monitoring of Administrative Litigation Reform (2002–2005), participated in the drafting of numerous legislative instruments, served as an international expert on European cooperation projects, acted as an Agent of the Portuguese State before the Court of Justice of the EU, Portugal’s representative on the Council of Europe’s Project Group on Administrative Law (2004), on the European Commission’s Group on Public Sector Information (2004) and at meetings to prepare European legislation on public procurement (2001–2005).
From 2001 to 2002, she undertook a legal traineeship at the law firm Gagliardini & Associados in Porto, under the supervision of Mr Luis Gagliardini Graça.
Teaching Experience
Visiting Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, 2008–2022 (Public International Law, European Union Law, European Union Litigation, Administrative Law I, Administrative Law III (Public Procurement) and Fundamental Rights);
Visiting Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Porto, 2004–2008 (Administrative Law and Public International Law);
Lecturer on postgraduate courses in Administrative Litigation and Public Procurement at the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, 2017–2026, and at the Faculty of Law, Portuguese Catholic University, Porto School and Lisbon School, 2019–2026;
Lecturer at the Centre for Judicial Studies on training courses for judges, 2016 and 2017, and at the Bar Association on workshops for lawyers, 2017–2019;
Trainer at the National Institute of Administration, 2011–2026, at ADREL – Association for Regional and Local Law Studies, 2026, and at CEFA – Foundation for Local Government Studies and Training, 2008, delivering legal training courses for legal and non-legal professionals.
In the field of music, she taught ‘Harp’ at the Coimbra Conservatory of Music, and founded and served as Magister of the Women’s Tuna at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto.
