Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Associação Parque da Junqueira.

From October 2021 to November 2025, served as Deputy Mayor of Lisbon.

From 2009 to 2021, ran his own law firm, initially as a sole practitioner and, from 2015 onwards, at the firm PReal Advogados, which founded.

From 2016 to 2019, was a Member of the Portuguese Parliament.

From 2008 to 2009, was a Senior Associate at the firm AAA - D Franco, R Martins, M Verde, J Jácome, and Associates.

From 2004 to 2008, was an Associate and Senior Associate at the firm PLMJ - AM Pereira, S Leal, Júdice, O Martins, and Associates.

From 2002 to 2004, worked as an Adviser to the Government of the Portuguese Republic in the Offices of the Secretary of State for the Economy, Dr Dulce Franco (2002), and the Minister of the Presidency, Dr Nuno Morais Sarmento (2002 to 2004).

From 2000 to 2001, undertook a legal traineeship at the law firm PLMJ - AM Pereira, S Leal, Júdice, O Martins, e Associados, where his supervisor was Dr Dulce Franco, and whose corporate law department he subsequently joined as a lawyer.

Involvement in various civil society organisations, including serving as Vice-President with responsibility for legal affairs at the Portuguese Equestrian Federation, Member of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of the IDL – Amaro da Costa Institute, and Member of the Jurisdiction Council of the Portuguese Federation of Sport for People with Disabilities; Member of the Supervisory Board of the Portuguese Language Observatory; Member of the Strategic Council. Within the context of party politics, which he has since left, he held senior leadership positions.
